This is an absolute novelty in the Homka collection: a framework (more than just a frame) with an inlay of 24 beveled mirror pieces finished by hand, eight of them engraved with a small decoration, and one beveled central mirror. The framework is decorated with a silver finish and a brown patina. If there is one mirror that deserves a central place on the wall, it is this one. It is, far more than a simple mirror, a decorative object in which a number of techniques are gathered. The clear mirror glass gives an extra twist to this object of admiration. Due to the shape of the mirror and the colour of the frame, this mirror will fit best in a classical or timeless interior. It really gives the expression “classical mirror” a whole new meaning.
