Roberto Paoli is an architect and designer specialized in the small-scale design.His accurate creative process combines a strong technical knowledge with the consciousness of the materials performances in order to innovate and to give shape to products of clean lines.
Roberto Paoli currently designs for prestigious brands of furniture and light industry such as Deknudt Mirrors, Ligne Roset, Fiamitalia, Artemide, Leucos and Nemo Cassina .
While collaborating with famous companies, in 2013 he founds his own brand "Seminato Mercadante" with which he self-produces products characterized by a strong research, experimentation and innovation .
His new brand takes name from the place where his creative team works: a two storey suggestive area, transformed and renovated, of building of the first years of '900 in Milan.
In 2009, 2010, 2011 and in 2012 he wins four times the Chicago Good Design Award.
In 2010 Freskogel, a set of notebook feet in Technogel® he designed for Tucano was inserted in the ADI Design Index as a candidate for the Compasso d’Oro Award.
In 2013 also the floor lamp Tru by Nemo Cassina is selected in the ADI Design Index for win the awards Compasso d’Oro.

Roberto Paoli is also creator and curator of exhibitions and design culture events.
For Deknudt, he designed the mirrors Cord and Tilt.
